This man is a UI/UX Powerhouse. I have had the pleasure of working with Tim on several technical software projects over the past decade, each one trumping the one before. He brings essential combinations of right-brained and left-brained points of view to product designs and engineering specifications. One of Tim's outstanding qualities is that he never falls in love with his own work. He happily iterates over project details with team members to achieve the highest level of quality, but is more than capable to abandoning an approach without attachment. Tim is the best UI/UX guru I have had the pleasure of working with. On top of an amazing command of all of the relevant design tools and techniques, what truly impressed me was his ability to communicate product vision throughout the company. 

From day 1, Tim was "in the trenches" with design. Whether it was when he was wanting to learn where we had been and why or when he was proposing something new, Tim never sat in a ivory tower but was always with the masses. Not being a strong UI guy myself, I greatly valued Tim's conversations as he would help *me* explain to *myself* what I thought of something by asking probing questions, suggesting a word, etc...a UI Socrates of sorts. Simply stated, I have never met a UI guy so eager for criticism and so driven to deliver a design that is truly reflective of and responsive to the audience, regardless of whether the audience are designers. 

It was a great pleasure working with Tim and I truly hope to cross paths in the near future.
